The Industrial Revolution beginning in the late 17oo’s in Europe is the reason life is this forever turning clock we are so accustomed to. Prior to the Industrial Revolution people lived according to the sunset and sunrise. Production was done by hand in ones home with hand tools or basic machinery. The steam engine, textile industry and mass production came with the beginning of the clock. Thus factories were born. (Model T) Along with the dividing of the haves and have not’s, classes were created. The lower class lived like rats while the factory owners lived like kings. Hence, life will never be simple, unless you are rich.
